About this rule

How to tell

Add -b- plus the ending to the stem:

ami korboI'll do
tumi korbeyou'll do
apni korbenyou'll do (respectful)
o korbehe or she will do

Tumi (you) and o (he or she) share the same form.

Why it works

One form covers will, going to and shall. As a question it also makes a polite offer:

Cha khaben? Will you have some tea?

Good to know

Tumi (you) and o (he or she) both use -be. The subject tells them apart:

tumi korbeyou'll do
o korbehe or she will do

Good to know

In relaxed speech you will hear korba (you'll do) for tumi korbe (you'll do). It is a little informal, not wrong.
